Oh my gosh, we are thrilled beyond belief to finally introduce our sweet Maggie to everyone. She is obviously extremely healthy and so precious. Thank you to everyone who has supported us through these four years. Here is her info:Birth date 7/7/08 (she will be around 15-16 months when we get her).
Guandong province (not sure if I spelled it correctly, have not had a chance to get the exact spelling yet of all of this info.
We will travel in 6-8 weeks and will be in Guanghzhou the entire time.

I also have a Guangdong girl (they're ALL beautiful!) and received our referral three years ago tomorrow -- we traveled an excruciating 9 weeks after referral due to the Trade Fair (from November 1 - 18 -- oh and we had to be there an extra week at that time). I sure hope you're able to travel sooner, 'cause 9 weeks is TOO LONG TO WAIT!! You'll enjoy spending two weeks in Guangzhou.

Congratulations! She is beautiful. What SWI? Our girl is from Guangdong as well, and we just got back from China on Friday. China was wonderful, but Guangzhou was HOT, so bring lots of cool clothes, just in case it doesn't cool off yet. :) Feel free to send me a PM for any info. I'm Jdubs03 on the forum.

Congratulations!!! From the backdrop and a mention on another RQ site, I'm thinking your daughter is from Lianjiang SWI in Guangdong province. That is also where our daughter is from. We've been home two and a half years now. All the girls in our travel group were from Lianjiang, and all appeared to be happy, healthy and well cared for at the SWI.
The Yahoo group for this SWI is very friendly, and there is a lot of info available there. Hope to see you again online!

Our Maggie is from Guangdong province too. Like a PP, I'm guessing Lianjiang as well, based on the photo, which is where our dd is from! She was well taken care of and of course, beautiful! Congratulations!
Congrats on your referral, Maggie is adorable. I too have a LianJiang baby. Our daughter is going to be 4 next month and I can not say enough about the orphanage, they took such good care of the babies and loved them so much. It is very obvious in our travel group of girls. Congrats again and have a great trip.
